Infomill Limited
Infomill Limited, based in Derby, design cutting edge software for portable electronic data devices, such as PDAs and received investment from the Coalfields Enterprise Fund in October 2004.
Infomill was founded by a team of software engineers, sales staff and managers. Many of the Infomill team have worked together since 1982 and been instrumental in developing ground-breaking MRO applications across a range of industries. There are over 10,000 users of Infomill's products world-wide.
The company is a leader in providing technology-based technical data content solutions to the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) market. Infomill's technology benefits its customers in two key areas:
- Enhancement in the efficiency of aftermarket maintenance and operation activities, delivering substantial cost savings throughout the supply chain.
- Increased revenue generation for suppliers of aftermarket products and services, which includes all activities associated with the support and operation of a product after it has been initially supplied to a customer.
Infomill is a privately owned company with the majority of equity owned by employees.
The early-stage funding from CEF was provided as part of a syndicated larger funding package to enable the company to take their product to the next stage of its development.
